Keep Alamogordo Beautiful was founded in 1975 by concerned citizens tired of seeing litter and trash in their community.

History:

Since its founding, KAB has worked to educate the community about the importance of litter prevention and recycling. KAB has also organized numerous cleanups and beautification projects throughout the city.

In addition to its work on litter prevention and recycling, KAB also promotes sustainable community practices. KAB offers educational programs on water conservation, energy efficiency, and composting. KAB also partners with businesses and organizations to promote sustainable practices.

KAB is a valuable resource for the Alamogordo community. KAB's work helps to make Alamogordo a cleaner, greener, and more beautiful place to live.
